frequently asked

How much wax does the 10L Digital Wax Melter hold, and how many candles can I make per batch?

The tank holds up to 10 litres (20 lbs, roughly 9kg of wax), enough to pour about 30 Luna jars, or fill roughly 100 x 6 cavity clamshell moulds in a single load. That's production-run capacity, built for makers who have outgrown a 4L pot. If you're still pouring smaller batches, the 4L Wax Melter may suit you better.

How is the digital model different from the dial version?

The digital thermostat has a dual display, so you set your target temperature and watch the actual wax temperature at the same time. There's no guessing and no overshoot, which matters when you add fragrance oil and the temperature drops slightly.

What temperature range does it offer?

It's adjustable from 50°C to 100°C, which covers the full working range for melting and pouring. Set it to 75-85°C for most soy and coconut blends, and closer to 90-100°C for paraffin or harder waxes.

What is the fuse protection, and how do I avoid triggering it?

The unit has a built-in fuse that automatically cuts power if it runs dry, protecting the element from damage. To avoid triggering it, keep the liquid wax level above 10% of capacity while the melter is running. If wax drops below that, switch it off and refill before restarting.

Which types of wax can I use in it?

All the common candle waxes, including soy, coconut, paraffin, beeswax and blends. The spout lets you pour straight into jars or moulds, which makes a real difference to consistency at this capacity.

Is it covered by a warranty?

Yes, it's backed by a 12-month limited warranty. Wickii is an authorised Australian reseller of ToAuto products, so you're buying genuine stock with genuine warranty support.
