How do I fill these tubes?
Wind the base of each tube all the way down first, then pour your melted lip balm base in slowly and stop just below the rim. A filling tray holds 50 tubes upright at once so your fills stay level and you can scrape the excess off in one pass. Let them set fully before capping.
How much base do I need?
Each tube takes about 5g, so 100g of base fills roughly 20 tubes and a 50 pack needs around 250g. Melt a little more than you think you need, the leftover can be remelted.
Can I flavour and colour what goes in them?
Yes, but only with products made for lips. Use lip balm flavours and lip-safe mica blends. Never use candle fragrance oils, essential oils or candle dye chips.
Do they come with labels?
No, the tubes are supplied plain. If you are selling your balms you will need to add your own label with the full ingredient list.
