FAQ's
What are natural perfumes?
Natural perfumes are fragrances made from pure, plant-based ingredients without synthetic chemicals, artificial additives, or petroleum-derived substances. They typically contain essential oils, absolutes, resins, and botanical extracts derived from flowers, leaves, fruits, spices, and woods.
What are some of the disadvantages?
Natural perfumes tend to have a shorter longevity due to the lack of synthetic fixatives, so the scent may not last as long.
Production cost can be higher due to pure botanical extracts are more expensive and labour-intensive to produce.
Which essential oils are skin safe?
All the essential oils sold by Wickii are skin safe. However, dilution is key. Never apply undiluted essential oils directly to the skin. Use a carrier oil, such as sweet almond oil.
Is there a curing time?
We reccomend to allow your mixture to sit for 24 hours, prior to patch testing and 2-6 weeks for ideal oil binding and performace.
What are pulse points?
Pulse points generate heat, which helps diffuse the fragrance naturally. Common application points:
1. Behind the Ears
2. Wrists
3. Neck (Sides & Base)
4. Collarbone & Décolletage
