Our Eco Diffuser Base is a proprietary blend made with Isopropylideneglycerol – CAS 100-79-8, a biodegradable, plant-derived solvent created from natural glycerin. It also contains 1–5 % ethanol and a trace of antioxidant (BHT) for stability and clarity.

Why choose the Eco Diffuser Base over traditional alcohol bases?

Unlike alcohol-heavy diffusers, this base is low-VOC, non-toxic and non-flammable, delivering a cleaner scent throw and longer diffusion life without the harsh ethanol smell.

Is it considered an eco-friendly product?

Yes. Our base is made with renewable, biodegradable raw materials and contains no petrochemicals or hydrocarbons, supporting sustainable fragrance formulation.

How much fragrance oil can I add?

You can blend in up to 30 % fragrance oil. Most makers find 15–20 % provides an ideal balance of scent strength, clarity and longevity.

Can I use essential oils as well as fragrance oils?

Are there any handling or cleaning tips?

Step Two.

Time to get mixing! Pour your Eco Base into the container and let your fragrance oil make a grand entrance. Give it a gentle swirl for a couple of minutes. Watch as the magic happens and your custom scent potion comes to life!

Step Three.

Pour your freshly-mixed potion into a gorgeous bottle, then place in your reed sticks. Let them soak for a few hours, then flip them over to release that wonderful aroma.
