How much wax does the ToAuto 8lb Wax Melter hold, and how many candles can I make per batch?
The tank holds around 3.6kg of wax, enough to pour about 12 Luna jars, or fill roughly 40 x 6 cavity clamshell moulds in a single load. That capacity makes it a great fit for hobbyists and small-batch makers who've outgrown the stovetop or double boiler but aren't ready for industrial gear.
What temperature range does it offer, and how do I control it?
The melter heats from 50°C to 100°C, covering the full working range for melting and pouring. You set the temperature with a simple rotary knob.
How long does it take to melt a full batch?
Around 15-20 minutes to melt roughly 1.8kg. Melt times will vary a little depending on your wax type, room temperature and starting volume.
Which types of wax can I use in it?
