What does Bohemian Musk smell like?

Bohemian Musk opens with honied orange, moves through rose, muguet and a woody complex, then settles into a warm base of sandalwood, musk and vanilla. It is an earthy, enigmatic musk that suits candles, melts and body products.

Will Bohemian Musk discolour my candles?

Bohemian Musk contains under 10% vanillin and under 10% ethyl vanillin, so some discolouration is possible over time, especially in white or pale waxes. It does not affect scent performance. If a bright white finish matters, add a UV stabiliser to your wax.

How much Bohemian Musk should I use in soy wax?

Use up to 10% fragrance load in soy and other vegetable waxes. Most makers find 6 to 8% gives a strong scent throw. Weigh your fragrance oil rather than measuring by volume, and allow your candles to cure before test burning.

Is Bohemian Musk safe for soaps and skincare?

Yes, within the recommended limits. Use up to 5% in soaps, bath gels and bath oils, and up to 5% in lotions and perfumes. Check the IFRA certificate for your specific application and always patch test finished products before selling them.
