frequently asked

What does Australian Bush fragrance oil smell like?

A fresh, green take on the Australian bush. Eucalyptus and native myrtle sit over earthy fern and gum nuts, with wattle and pine on top and a warm base of patchouli and sandalwood. Woody, herbaceous and unmistakably Australian.

How much Australian Bush fragrance oil should I use in soy wax?

We recommend starting at 8% in soy wax, which is roughly 80g of fragrance per kilo of wax. Cure your candles for about 2 weeks, then adjust up or down to suit your wax and vessel. Always test before scaling a batch.

Is Australian Bush fragrance oil safe for soaps and skincare?

Yes. It is made in Australia, phthalate free and IFRA compliant. As a guide, use up to 5% in soaps and bath products, up to 1% per 100ml in lotions and up to 1% in room sprays. Download the IFRA certificate and SDS on this page for the current limits.
