How do I get the bars out cleanly?
Wipe the mould with isopropyl alcohol before your first pour so the wax releases cleanly. Let each bar cure fully, then flex the silicone and pop it out with that satisfying snap. Smooth edges, no chipped corners.
Which wax should I use?
A firmer wax gives snap bars their signature clean break. Our Pillar Soy Blend Wax is the go-to for melts that hold their shape, take colour beautifully and release easily from silicone.
Do I pour straight into the mould?
Yes. Add your fragrance and colour to the melted wax, let it cool slightly, then pour into each section. A digital thermometer keeps your pours consistent from batch to batch, which means fewer sinkholes and a smoother finish.
How long will the mould last?
It's built for repeat studio use. Clean it promptly after each demould, and store it flat away from heat and direct sunlight, silicone can deform if left in harsh conditions. Treated well, it will keep snapping out bars pour after pour.
