How many candles can I make with one kit?

Each kit makes approximately four candles using our 230ml Cosmo tins. This makes it ideal for gifting, testing new fragrances, or learning the process before scaling up production.

Do I need any extra tools or equipment to get started?

You’ll only need a few basic household items — a saucepan to create a double boiler, a digital scale and a stirring utensil. Everything else you need is provided in the kit.

Are the wicks pre-tabbed and ready to use?

Yes. The wicks included in your kit are pre-tabbed, and sized to suit the candle tins provided. Each one is made from natural cotton and coated for a steady, consistent burn.

How long does it take to make and cure the candles?

The melting and pouring process takes around 30–45 minutes depending on your workspace. Once poured, we recommend allowing the candles to set for 24 hours before lighting, and cure for up to 7 days to maximise scent throw.

Is this kit suitable for making candles to sell or just for hobby use?

Each kit includes 1 kg of Wickii’s 100% soy wax, a natural and biodegradable plant-based wax that’s completely vegan-friendly. Our soy wax is made from renewable soybeans and produces a smooth, even finish with a clean burn and excellent scent throw. It’s easy to work with and ideal for both beginners and experienced makers looking for a professional result.
