How do I get the hearts out cleanly?
Wipe the mould with isopropyl alcohol before your first pour so the wax releases cleanly. Let the hearts cure fully, then flex the silicone gently and they pop straight out. The cavities are small, so a full tray demoulds in minutes.
Which wax should I use?
A firmer wax holds the heart shape and its detail best. Our Pillar Soy Blend Wax is the go-to for melts that keep their edges crisp, take colour beautifully and release easily from silicone.
Do I pour straight into the mould?
Yes. Add your fragrance and colour to the melted wax, let it cool slightly, then pour across the cavities. The hearts are tiny so they set quickly. A digital thermometer keeps your pours consistent from batch to batch.
Can I use it for soap too?
Absolutely. It works beautifully with melt-and-pour soap for mini heart accents and embeds. Clean the mould promptly after each demould and store it flat away from heat, and it will keep popping out hearts pour after pour.
