How to Make Room Sprays

Room Sprays are quickly becoming the latest trend in home fragrance. They will quickly and effectively fill a space with your favourite scents to refresh the space. These are perfect in bathrooms, bedrooms and throughout the whole house.

We have two options for your room sprays, either using Polysorbate 20 or our new and improved Room Spray Base. Both are effective and easy to work with.

Polysorbate 20 Room Spray Instructions

What you will need (makes 400ml):

20ml Polysorbate 20 (5%)
20ml Fragrance Oil (5%)
360ml Distilled Water (90%)
Room Spray Bottles to fit
Atomisers for bottles
Measuring Cup
Measuring Jug
Funnel

Step1:

In your measuring cup pour your fragrance and Polysorbate 20 together. Stir to combine.

Step 2:

Measure out your distilled water into your measuring jug. Pour in your Polysorbate 20 and Fragrance blend and stir together until fully combined. It should have a milky look to your room spray.

Step 3:

Using the funnel, pour your room spray into your room spray bottles, pop your atomiser on top and your good to use straight away.

Room Spray Base Instructions

What you will need (makes 400ml)

Step1:

Using a measuring cup, measure out 4ml of fragrance oil. Using a measuring jug, measure out your 396ml of Room Spray Base. Pour the fragrance oil into the room spray base and stir together until fully combined. A pipette may be an easier option for fragrance rather than a funnel and measuring cup if working with a small amount of fragrance.

Step 2:

Using the funnel, pour your room spray into your room spray bottles and twist your atomiser on top and you're good to use it straight away.
