- Begin Testing
Whenever you're starting a new line of candles, and are purchasing new candle supplies for your products, you'll need to go through the testing phase again. Testing your fragrances is important. Not only do you want to make sure that your Christmas range captures the festivities of the holiday season, you also need to make sure that you like the fragrance throw from them. This is so that you can be confident about the candles you make for Christmas.
When you are testing, this also gives you the opportunity to work out how much you'll need. While we recommend 8% fragrance loading across the board on all our fragrances with our Simply 100% Soy Wax, you might find the candles smell better with a higher or a lower ratio. From here you'll be able to calculate the total amount of fragrance oils you'll need to complete your Christmas collection. The testing phase also gives you the perfect opportunity to pick your favourite. We have 9 different Christmas Fragrance Oils (all of which are Australian made) and by testing them you can determine your favourite. You’ll most likely end up selling more of your favourite fragrance than the others (just through subconscious marketing). So make sure you have a little more of that one on hand and ready to go for Christmas.
- To Have them Ready
When it starts to get closer to Christmas, the world goes into a little bit more chaos. Courier times take longer to deliver parcels, items go out of stock faster and take longer to be replenished. For this reason, we recommend having your fragrance oils ready to make your candle collection a long time prior to you needing them. This ensures you have enough stock for your collection and don’t have to worry about running out. You won't have to wait for any courier delays or stock running out. It’ll give you peace of mind knowing you were more organised and on top of your Christmas collection this year.
